Your Maternity Experience
It is best to book your maternity session between 28-34 weeks term. Although this may vary from client to client, we want to make sure we capture that glowing bump while you feel your best!
You will have access to our growing maternity client closet with beautifully made maternity gowns. We have many head accessories such as hats/headbands/hairclips/crowns available to you to use. We also have costume jewelry that you may use during your session. All dresses, gowns, and accessories are fully washed & sanitized after each session.
STUDIO MATERNITY: Studio Maternity sessions are held in our cozy studio located in the heart of downtown Highland, MI (right off M-59 for easy access). These sessions are styled to create Fine Art portraits of your inner GODDESS and glo. All studio-styled sessions will come with 2 backdrops that reflect the outfit of choice.
OUTDOOR MATERNITY: Outdoor Maternity sessions are held prior to sunset for that gorgeous golden-hour glow. With two choices of locations, A local park with an open field in Milford, MI, OR, State Land in Highland, MI (1 minute down the road from our studio).
These sessions are styled to portray a romantic vibe with a gorgeous outdoor setting, overlooking the sunset.

Liv is a professional makeup artist & hair stylist with a deep love for beauty, people, and especially for making every client who sits in her chair feel like the most amazing version of themselves. When should I book?
We recommend booking your maternity session for when you are around 28-34 weeks term in your pregnancy. Although all pregnancies are different - most mommas feel most beautiful during this time and their belly's are popping!
What is an ordering appointment?
Our ordering appointments consist of coming back to the studio 1-2 weeks after your session has taken place. During this appointment, we will have yummy sweets set out, sparkling cider, and your images ready for you to view. This appointment is exciting for most parents because you get to see your images for the first time, displayed on our TV in a slideshow format. After you've viewed your images, you will have the opportunity to go through and choose the ones you love the most and wish to keep! At this appointment, you may also add additional images to your gallery or products such as albums, wall art, gifts, and more!
Do I have to wear one of your gowns?
No, you do not! We want you to feel beautiful AND comfortable, if you would rather show up in a bralette and jeans or even a dress of your own, you are more than welcome to!
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! I offer in-house payment plans, with 50% due at the time of your session and the remaining amount is divided up amongst 25% due every two weeks. Your images and/or products will not be delivered until payment is completed in full.
Do you have a Maternity Client Closet?
Absolutely! Our closet can be veiwed in a gallery below. We are constantly adding new dresses, body suits, and more to our wardrobe! Some outfits may not be shown here, you can schedule a try on appointment 1-2 weeks before your session.
When will my photos be ready?
1-2 weeks after your session takes place, you will come back to the studio to do a view and ordering appointment. Once you've selected the images you wish to keep, you can expect an email with your final gallery 1-2 weeks after. Typical turn around from start to finish after a session is 3 weeks.
Do I have to add Hair & Makeup to my session?
No, you do not! However, we do recommend it because most mommas love the pampering experience. They tend to feel more relaxed and beautiful during their session and we love their stunning photos!
If you do choose to opt out of hair and makeup- we recommend making sure the makeup you do at home is styled for an evening out look. With studio flash light makeup can blend and make it look like you're not wearing anything at all.
Do you offer a combined Newborn & Maternity Packages?
When booking two sessions together with us, you will receive $100 credit. This credit can be used for ordering additional images OR art product such as wall art, prints, albums, and more!
CLIENT CLOSET
View some of the gorgeous gowns we have available in our client closet. We recommend a try-on appointment, at our studio, 1-2 weeks before your session. We are constantly adding new gowns to our client closet and you may find one you adore that you do not see listed below!
