Sweet Baby McKenna! This precious little one held a string on my heart because not only is she so precious but she is also my sweet baby niece. Mariah, her mother, is my sister-in-law and she reached out as soon as she found out she was pregnant with their second baby. She originally had planned on both a maternity session & a newborn session- however due to complications during her pregnancy we were unable to continue with her maternity session.

It was important to me that I created the most perfect newborn session for her as she was unable to continue her Maternity session.
Mariah was diagnosed with Pre-eclampsia at an early stage of pregnancy with her oldest daughter, and although it's not extremely common to have it again for future pregnancies, she unfortunately developed pre-eclampsia with McKenna and had her early at 32 weeks along.
Baby McKenna was born on 7/19/22 and came to the studio to meet me & get her photos done at exactly 1 month old. Even though she was a month old, she was the tiniest baby I've ever held! So dainty and so precious!

I can't help it when I see a baby in a bonnet I just squeal with happiness because they're the cutest!! These lavender tones were absolutely beautiful and since momma gave me free range to use whatever colors I'd like, I had to include purples!
I may be biased because she's my niece but she has the most beautiful face!

My oldest niece, Olivia, is the SWEETEST little girl on the planet! But boy oh boy were we chasing her around the studio to capture photos of her with her baby sister! She loved her sister but when it came to family photos she was O U T.
Not all little ones are cooperative when it comes to having a camera in front of them. Especially after a couple cheeses, most want to run and play. But I have my little tricks that help get those moments you'll cherish! I don't force kids to cooperate, as I've found forcing a smile makes for tears, which no one wants. Instead I get down on your child's level and talk with them. I'll play peek-a-boo, we'll play hide + seek, and "can you find the unicorn (or dinosaur) in my camera!
