ABOUT:

These mini sessions are designed to be simple, beautiful, and relaxed. They’re all about the love, connection, and little in-between moments between you and your babies. Moms are so often the ones behind the camera, so this is such a special chance to step in and be part of those memories.

The setup will be a timeless, soft scene with a bench, florals, and drapery for a really clean and beautiful look.

Everything will take place in my indoor studio, where I’ll guide you through the whole session so it feels easy and natural

What to wear/Colors:

Color palette chart featuring cream white, soft beige, dusty pink, sage green, baby blue, butter yellow, muted lilac, and warm brown.
Family photo outfit inspiration collage featuring coordinated neutral, blue, and sage green clothing combinations for group pictures.

When it comes to outfits, I always recommend starting with mom’s dress first and building everyone else’s outfits around that. Choose something you feel really good in, and then pull colors from your outfit to coordinate the rest of the family.

For this setup, I’m going for soft, timeless tones..think light neutrals, muted blues, soft greens, and warm earthy tones, along with soft pastels like lavender and lilac. Creams, beiges, light grays, dusty blues, sage, and soft purples all photograph beautifully together. My personal favorites is just keeping in the soft beige/creams tones and pairing with jeans or khakis. However all the tones above will photograph perfectly with this set! If you have any questions on colors, reach out! I'd love to help!

TIP: Try to avoid bold colors, busy patterns, or anything too dark, as those can take away from the soft, cohesive look we’re going for. Flowy dresses for mom and little girls photograph especially beautifully, and keeping textures soft and simple really helps everything come together. Mixing in gentle textures like linen, knits, or soft cotton adds a subtle depth and dimension that really makes the photos feel layered and natural.

The goal is for everyone to coordinate, not match exactly, so think complementary tones rather than identical outfits.

HOW TO PREP FOR YOUR SESSION:

Since these sessions are only 15 minutes, I want to help you get the most out of our time together. Make sure your little one has had a snack and drink beforehand so they are ready to go.

During the session, all I ask is for lots of connection. Cuddles, kisses, giggles, whatever feels natural. You know your child best, and I will follow your lead while giving gentle direction and the occasional silly face when needed.

My sessions are relaxed and go with whatever unfolds. If you have super littles, and your child  wants to crawl around on the floor or explore the bench, we will roll with it, and that is often when the most joyful, genuine moments happen.

A mother smiles warmly with her two young children on a bench surrounded by white flowers in a bright studio setting.
A family shares tender moments together in a golden field at sunset, creating heartwarming candid photographs.

Thank you so much ♡
