Your MILESTONE EXPERIENCE BY GOLD + GRACE
At Gold and Grace, we capture baby milestones to document the moments between your baby's newborn stage to their 1st Birthday. These sessions are scheduled around 3-4 Months old for roller sessions | to 6-7 Months old for sitter sessions | 9-10 Months for standing sessions
It's amazing how quickly babies grow and reach important milestones in their first year of life. From sitting up to crawling, and then walking, everything seems to happen in the blink of an eye! Their little gummy smiles, those first little teeth popping in, and the act of sitting or standing on their own are all significant moments that parents cherish.
Our milestone portraits freeze this moment in time for you, with timeless images you'll adore for years to come! The goal of these sessions is to create a fun and relaxing experience for our parents. Natasha covers everything from props and backdrops to 2 coordinating outfits.
The BABY MILESTONE Process:
Step 1: Booking
When you schedule your milestone portrait session with Gold + Grace, we have 3 options for you to choose from. You may also book a "Grow With Me" collection which includes all 3 milestones with one session fee.
Roller Milestone: The first milestone session typically happens when your baby is 3-4 months old and has begun rolling over and pushing up onto their arms or elbows. It's best to wait until this stage to get a wider range of photos, as younger babies may not have developed the necessary strength or vision to interact or smile for the camera.
Sitter Milestone: The best time to schedule a sitter session for your baby is when they can sit independently but have not yet started crawling or walking. Usually, this is between the ages of 7-6 months, but it may vary depending on your baby's developmental abilities. I am always flexible and willing to reschedule your session later if necessary to make sure your baby can sit on their own.
Standing Milestone: It is recommended to book this session when your baby is between 9 to 10 months old. However, it can be challenging to capture good photos during this session as babies at this age can be wary of strangers "stranger danger phase" and tend to crawl away towards their mothers. Nevertheless, we enjoy taking pictures of 9-month-olds standing up while holding onto chairs, crates, and ladders. Sometimes we even get those adorable stare-down pictures or Natasha will capture those little details while your little one warms up.
The BABY MILESTONE Process:
Step 2: Design + Prep
Just like no two babies are the same, no two milestone sessions are the same!
Each session is designed around the parent's individual color choices and styling. Once you have completed your booking, you will receive a questionnaire that allows you to custom design your session with color, prop, and outfit choices that Natasha offers.
Your final design will have 3 sets, giving you a large variety of beautiful images to choose from.
Gold + Grace Photography takes care of everything for parents. However, we understand that going into a new experience can be nerve-wracking if you're unsure of the whole process beforehand. To address this, we will send you a comprehensive preparation guide via email. This guide includes tips on how to prepare for your session and what to expect during it.
THE BABY MILESTONE PROCESS:
Step 3: Session day!
When you arrive at the studio, your session will be fully planned and prepped for you and your baby. All the sets will be set up and available for you to take a look at before Natasha begins working with your baby. We encourage parents to sit back, relax, and just enjoy the experience!
The Baby Milestone Process:
Step 4: Ordering appointment
The exciting day you've been waiting for has finally arrived! One week after your session, we welcome you back to our studio to view your photos for the first time. During this appointment, you'll make your final selections on which images you'd like to keep and which package best suits you and your family. You'll have the opportunity to choose your preferred digital images as well as handcrafted photo products like albums and wall art that can be displayed in your home.
You can expect your final images to be ready within 2 weeks of your ordering appointment, while your fine art pieces will be ready within 5-6 weeks.
INVESTMENT
Your milestone session will be fully customized to your family. With beautiful colors and props to choose from and Natasha's creative touch, you can guarantee you'll have beautiful memories that will last a lifetime!
Your session fee includes your consultation/planning with Natasha, the time allocated for your session, access to all props, outfits, and accessories, as well as your in-person ordering appointment. Our studio is fully equipped with all necessary items for both baby and mom, in case something is left behind. Additionally, you'll have access to our complimentary refreshment and snack bar during both your session and ordering appointment.
Digital images, products, and collections are purchased separately during your ordering appointment.
Session Fee : $200
"Grow With Me" Session Fee: $399 | includes 3-4, 6-7, 9-10 month milestone fees in one.
