These sessions are so special and so much fun to celebrate! These are scheduled around 1-2 months before your baby's 1st Birthday. This session will take place in Natasha's cozy studio, located in Highland, MI.
Each session is custom-created to a theme of choice, with the option of balloon garlands, props, character cutouts, and so much more! The options for themes are unlimited and I'll be there every step of the way to help come up with the perfect session for your baby.
Cake is provided by Moozies and custom decorated to match the theme of your session as well as one outfit provided by Gold + Grace to match your colors/theme!

Step 1: Booking
When booking your baby's 1st Birthday/Cake Smash session, we recommend your session date to be 2 months in advance. This allows Natasha time to have your digital images back to you in time for your baby's first birthday.

Step 2: Design + Prep
Just like no two babies are the same, no two cake smash sessions are the same!
Each session is designed around the parent's individual choices and styling. Once you have completed your booking, you will receive a questionnaire that allows you to custom-design your session with Natasha.
Your final design will be carefully curated around the theme of your choosing with Natasha's creative touches. Your cake will be provided by Moozies Cake Studio and delivered on the morning of your session.
Gold + Grace Photography takes care of everything for parents. However, we understand that going into a new experience can be nerve-wracking if you're unsure of the whole process beforehand. To address this, we will send you a comprehensive preparation guide via email. This guide includes tips on how to prepare for your session and what to expect during it.

Step 3: Session day!
When you arrive at the studio, your session will be fully planned and prepped for you and your baby. Your Cake Smash set and cake will be available for you to take a look at before Natasha begins working with your baby.
Since everything has been taken care of prior to your session between our consultation and planning, there's nothing left to do but soak up the smash experience and watch your little one have a blast!
The Birthday Process:
Step 4: Ordering appointment
The exciting day you've been waiting for has finally arrived! One week after your session, we welcome you back to our studio to view your photos for the first time. During this appointment, you'll make your final selections on which images you'd like to keep and which package best suits you and your family. You'll have the opportunity to choose your preferred digital images as well as handcrafted photo products like albums and wall art that can be displayed in your home.
You can expect your final images to be ready within 2 weeks of your ordering appointment, while your fine art pieces will be ready within 5-6 weeks.
INVESTMENT
Your 1st Birthday/Cake Smash session will be fully customized to your wishes. With beautiful colors and props to choose from and Natasha's creative touch, you can guarantee you'll have beautiful memories that will last a lifetime!
Your session fee includes your consultation/planning with Natasha, the time allocated for your session, access to all props, outfits, and accessories, as well as your in-person ordering appointment. Our studio is fully equipped with all necessary items for both baby and mom, in case something is left behind. Additionally, you'll have access to our complimentary refreshment and snack bar during both your session and ordering appointment.
Digital images, products, and collections are purchased separately during your ordering appointment.
